1384 lactating and dry cows, 286 springing and bred heifers, 140 shortbred and breading age heifers, 400 6 months to yearling, 400 newborn calves to 6 months.
This is a very young dairy with 50% first lactation cattle. Averaging 95#/100# in tank, 4.3% fat, 3.2% prot, 110,000 SCC, averaging 154 DIM, milked 3x a day with rapid exit parallel parlor, full vaccination program with Bovi-Sheild Gold Fl 5L5 HB and Ultra Bac 7, dry cows treated with Orbaseal, Spectrimast, or Albridri. AI sired and bred with ST Genetics and Altra bulls. Cattle are genomiclly tested with many heifers ranking +1000 net merit. Calves are raised in pen pack, and transferred to free-stall as yearlings. For over 10 years, these cattle have been bred for longevity, +net merit, good feet and legs, and well balance udders- and it shows! (These are the highest quality heifers to ever cross the sawdust!)
Cattle will be negatively tested for the H5N1 bird flu 7 days before auction.
Auction Schedule:
Day 1: Fresh heifers (approx 800 head)
Day 2: Fresh heifers, dry, and springing heifers (approx 800 head)
Day 3: Calves up to 7 month bred heifers (approx 1000 head)
Loading:
Loading starting day 1 and will continue up to 4 days after auction by appointment. Large trailer loading ramp will be available.
